A model of Warton peg mill. Model was not present in Streetview image from 2016, but is there in 2018. In later years, an information board has gone up by the side of the model, presumably giving some of the history of the full size mill.

In 2026, plans have been approved to knock down the book exchange building, and to revamp the site as a public park etc. The model windmill is being preserved, but relocated.
